Heart Communication PRiMO CHOCOL
In essence, Heart Communication PRiMO CHOCOL is an upgraded KOPUel.
Released on September 29, 2007, this compact and portable Primo features six built-in sensors and switches: a cuddle & sleep sensor, a right cheek talk switch, a belly switch, right and left hand switches, and a communication sensor.
It is equipped with infrared communication functionality. When the belly switch is pressed and held, a “heart communication” mode begins. A heart beam is emitted from the communication sensor on the right foot, enabling a conversation between up to four units. Each Primo contains a unique ID in its right foot, allowing them to recognize familiar units. Those who occasionally interact are recognized as friends, while units that live in the same household for extended periods will recognize each other as siblings and speak accordingly.
The device can sometimes initiate communication on its own and is capable of speaking over 320 words. It also features a convenient sleep and wake-up function—laying the unit on its side puts it to sleep, and picking it up wakes it.
The number of people that can be registered for birthday celebrations has been increased to five. It also supports leap years.
This model is available in two colors: brown and black.
A girls’ version called “PRiMO CORONe” was also released, available in brown and red. Together, CHOCOL and CORONe are referred to as the “Heart Communication Series.”
