Character Overview
PRiMO PU-PU is a demonlike character that made their first appearance in the Primopuel PS2 game ‘Primopuel – Oshaberi Heartner’
PRiMO PU-PU’s name and character derives from the link between demon’s and excrement in Japan. In Shinto thought, kegare means ritual pollution or impurity. Bodily waste—including excrement—was seen as unclean and spiritually dangerous. Demons, oni, and certain yōkai are often linked to kegare, thriving in dirty, impure, or abandoned places. So poop and demons overlap symbolically as “unclean things.” Japan also has a long tradition of toilet humor and puns involving poop, often lighthearted. Oni and demons appear in children’s stories where they’re made less frightening by adding silly elements like poop jokes—turning fear into laughter.
Setting

A boy around 4 years old who lives in the night sky of the planet Primo. He has a rebellious and contrary personality, which is rare for Primo. He always says the opposite of what he means, so he can be a bit clumsy and doesn’t always know what he is saying.
He has wings on his back, and although he is not very good at it, he can fly loosely. His favorite places are dark and narrow places such as closets and corners.
